Fibre

Multimode Adaptors

The optical fibre Adapter is used to make two connectors together, usually mounted in a distribution panel or wall box. In most cases it is the critical part of the system that aligns the ferrule part of the connectors keeping the fibres in perfect alignment.

Fibre An optical fibre is a thin, transparent fibre for transmitting high speed data; it is used when transmission speeds, distances or security requirements can not be met by copper cabling systems.
RapidNet Premier pre-terminated network cabling system.

Multimode Connectors

Multimode LC and SC connectors are supplied in individual bags including the connector, dust cover and a 900ìm or 3.0mm boot. All connectors comply with the IEC874-14 standard ensuring compatibility with all other manufactured adaptors.

Multimode Optic Pigtails

Pigtails are available with either LC or SC connectors. The pigtails are supplied with 1 metre of 900ìm tight buffered cable. Optical fibre pigtails are essential when terminating cables within the splice enclosures. Purchasing pre-polished assemblies takes the risk of proof connector termination away from the project.

Multimode SC and LC Patch Cords

Optical fibre Patch Cords are a defining factor in ensuring your network performs to the highest level. For use in permanent connections between transmission equipment and patch panels or interconnect/cross connect  etween panels. Patch cords are pre-constructed with connectors. These include small form factors such as SC and LC connector types. Cables are sheathed with LSZH material making them suitable for internal use.

Singlemode Adaptors

The optical fibre Adapter is used to mate two connectors together, usually mounted in a distribution panel or wall box. In most cases it is the critical part of the system that aligns the ferrule of the connectors keeping the fibres in perfect alignment and minimising losses.

Singlemode Connectors

The LC connector can been seen extensively in the local area network closet as a standard fit to many market leading hubs and switches. The LC sets the standard for small form factor  connectors. The SC connector is one of the most popular connectors used today. It can be seen in every area of the communications environment, from a telecoms distribution room to a local area network closet, the SC has set the standard for optical fibre connectors.

Singlemode Optic Pigtails

Optical fibre pigtails are essential when terminating cables within the splice enclosures. Purchasing pre-polished assemblies takes the risk of proof connector termination away from the project. Cables terminated within a production facility will give a higher performance than cables terminated on site.

Singlemode SC and LC Patch Cords

For use in permanent connections between transmission equipment and patch panels or interconnect/cross connect between panels. Patch cords are pre- constructed with connectors. These include small form factors such as SC and LC connector types. Cables are sheathed with LSZH material making them  able for internal use.

Sliding Patch Panel SC Duplex and LC Quad

A 19. sliding draw patch panel with 24 vertical slots for SC duplex or LC quad adaptors. The panel is supplied pre-loaded with the required adaptors with any unused slots fitted with blanking plugs, each fibre port is numbered separately to make identification easier.
